Charles A. Hayden IV is an associate at Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy & Sadler, PLC, where he focuses on civil litigation in both federal and state courts, commercial real estate, and business transactions. Charles brings a well-rounded skill set to his practice, working diligently to secure the best outcomes for his clients.
Before joining the firm, Charles was an associate at Schenk & Bruetsch PLC, specializing in complex litigation, government affairs, and municipal and administrative law. He also worked as an associate at Rutledge, Manion, Rabaut, Terry & Thomas, P.C., and Allen Brothers PLLC, where he focused on civil defense, representing high-profile clients such as McDonald’s, Starbucks, and the Michigan Basic Insurance Association, among others.
Charles gained valuable experience as an intern for the Honorable Chief Judge Hood of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, drafting bench memoranda and judicial opinions. His diverse internship background includes work with various entities, covering all aspects of civil litigation and commercial transactions.
Charles holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and earned his law degree from Wayne State University Law School in 2019. During his time at Wayne Law, he was actively involved in the community, serving as Treasurer for the Wayne Law Student Board of Governors, an Admissions Counselor, a Student Ambassador, and a Themis Bar Review Representative.
Before attending law school, Charles was an NCAA athlete, playing basketball at Adrian College. His background as an athlete instilled in him discipline, strategic planning, assertiveness, and competitiveness, qualities he now brings to the courtroom.
