Dawda Mann represented Ford Motor Land Development Corp., the real estate arm for Ford Motor Co., in the $60 million redevelopment project for Wagner Place in Dearborn, Michigan. The project, set to transform a historic hotel and other vacant buildings in downtown Dearborn, is expected to bring about 600 of Ford’s automaker’s and suppliers’ data insights and analytics employees to the site by mid-2018.

Over the last 18 months, four members of the Dawda Mann team—Ed Dawda, Tyler Tennent, Todd Schafer and Erin Bowen Welch—have worked diligently to ensure all legal aspects have been and remain on track. Tyler has handled all aspects of land use, entitlements, local and state tax credits and enhancements, and has worked closely with Dearborn officials, City Council, Brownfield committees, Wayne County and the MEDC. Erin handled the acquisition of multiple parcels, including contracts, titles, surveys, closing documents, etc., as well as continues to work with Todd on leasing matters, with numerous retail leases in the pipeline.
