Chambers USA has recognized Dawda Mann as one of Michigan’s 2011 leading law firms for real estate.
Chambers, which ranks leading firms and attorneys in a range of practice areas, also gave Dawda Mann founding member Edward Dawda its Band 1 ranking for real estate, founding member Michael Mulcahy its Band 3 ranking for real estate and member Theresa Joswick its Band 2 ranking for employee benefits and executive compensation.
Dawda, who specializes in real estate, finance and corporate transactions, is an advisor to nationally known and publicly traded companies in major retail, commercial and industrial development projects across the United States. Dawda earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, cum laude.
Mulcahy specializes in a broad range of business, finance and real estate transactions. Mulcahy represents developers and buyers in the development, purchase and financing of major retail centers, office buildings and multi-use projects. Mulcahy earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
Joswick has more than 30 years’ experience in assisting a wide range of clients in the design, preparation, implementation, administration and taxation of retirement plans, welfare (medical, dental, cafeteria and severance pay), and executive benefit plans for both for-profit and tax-exempt organizations. She also advises both buyers and sellers on benefits issues in connection with business mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions. Joswick earned her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
