Sue Sadler, head of Dawda Mann’s Environmental, Energy and Sustainability practice group, will lead a roundtable discussion titled, “Common Environmental Issues Encountered in Industrial Transactions,” at the State Bar of Michigan’s upcoming event, Real Property Groundbreaker: Representing Clients in Industrial and Office Transactions.
The event will take place on Thursday, January 17 at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham. Breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., with roundtable discussions going from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. Each roundtable discussion will last approximately 30 minutes and offer real-world insights into common legal problems encountered by industrial and office-related clients.
“This event is a great opportunity for professionals to learn more about how to navigate legal issues impacting commercial real estate transactions,” said Sadler. “I’m excited for the opportunity to share my knowledge of environmental issues commonly encountered in these types of deals and lessons learned over decades of practicing environmental law with attendees—and I want them to walk away with tangible insights they can put to good use in the future.”
Sadler, a founding member of Dawda Mann, has focused her legal practice in the area of environmental law since the early 1980s, representing individuals, corporations, municipalities and business entities in all aspects of environmental regulations. She has successfully represented corporations in toxic tort litigation brought by individuals claiming damage and injury from exposure to chemicals and is one of the few attorneys in the country who is LEED-AP accredited.
