Richard M. Selik is an attorney with more than 45 years of experience. Since 1980, he has concentrated his practice in commercial real estate transactions. He has a broad range of experience representing clients in acquisitions, sales, land use, entitlements, development, financing, construction, leasing (representing both landlords and tenants), and work outs.  His clients include owners, operators, developers, property managers, and investors in all types of commercial properties (office, retail, industrial and mixed-use). Rick has a broad range of experience in real estate transactions on both a regional and national level.

Rick was admitted to practice law in Michigan in 1974. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1971 and thereafter attended the University of Detroit School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 1974.

Rick is listed in Martindale-Hubbell’s Bar Register of Pre-Eminent Lawyers who have earned the AV Peer Review Rating. This demonstrates that a lawyer has reached the height of professional excellence, demonstrating that he has practiced law for many years and is recognized by his peers for the highest level of skill and integrity. He has been recognized for inclusion in the annual edition of Super Lawyers in real estate law.
